PHO112 Location Lighting
This course is geared to help students better understand the six qualities of light and their practical application in any environment. Many lighting situations will be explored as students consider limitations and advantages and determine how to achieve the desired effect. Portable electronic flash and other light control devices will be used extensively in this class.
DIM242 Web Page Development
This course provides students with skills and knowledge necessary to successfully construct web pages, understand issues related to the World Wide Web, and keep current with this rapidly changing technology. Emphasis is placed on planning and design, interactivity of sites, navigation, file size, and site management. Fully featured sites are encouraged through the use of type, still images, QTVR, video, animation, sound cgi scripts and Java Script. Students are encouraged to use freeware and/or shareware software to keep costs low and to appreciate the wealth of software available online. Class participants create a finished, online, operative site using their own photography, film or video, artwork and design concepts.
