Have a taste for interior design? Then taste this. The Harrington Institute of Interior Design presents "Taste of Interior Design," a three-day summer program for students and adults interested in interior design careers. It will be held August 20-22 at the Harrington Institute, located in the Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Ave.
The seminar, taught by Harrington faculty, provides an overview of the interior design profession. The first day includes classes on interior design training and career opportunities, a hands-on creative project and a question-answer-session with interior design students. The second day will feature a trip to Merchandise Mart showrooms to meet design professionals. On the third day, attendees will review a series of residential and commercial design project presentations.
"The "Taste of Interior Design" offers an ideal way to explore interior design before making a career choice,” says Patrick Comstock, president of Harrington. "It’s also a great opportunity to see showrooms and meet interior design professionals."
Registration for the "Taste of Interior Design" is $75 per person. Space is limited.
