Sonie Haneline,of Hyde Park, recently joined the Harrington Institute of Interior Design as national admissions advisor. She is responsible for recruiting students who live 100 miles outside the Chicago area. She also helps such students with their transition to Chicago.
Haneline previously worked as a teller at Wells Fargo Bank. She also worked for Janzen, Johnston & Rockwell, as the client relations’ coordinator, recruiting physicians to work in the emergency room. She also built a database for the company to monitor contracts and employees. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology & Communication Studies from UCLA.
The Harrington Institute of Interior Design is a four-year college that offers flexible scheduling for a bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design, an associate of applied science degree and professional diploma.
Founded in Chicago in 1931, Harrington seeks to foster an environment that maximizes students' intellectual and artistic potentials. The majority of the faculty are practicing interior design, architecture and fine art professionals. Harrington is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and the BFA program is accredited by the Foundation for Interior Designer Education Research (FIDER).
