Michele Battle, Melvin Marzan, and Anthony Hernandez, of Lakeview, recently joined the Harrington Institute of Interior Design admissions department.
Battle, admissions advisor, is responsible for advising and enrolling potential students in the Chicago area. She previously worked for Softchoice, a software and hardware reseller company as a sales representative and holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from University of Mississippi.
Marzan, admissions advisor, is responsible for assisting adult students with their college search. He helps students decide if Harrington is the right college for expanding their career and educational goals. He previously worked for W Hotel in Chicago as a concierge.
Hernandez, admissions support and team member, is responsible for assisting admissions advisors, and customer service representatives. He also helps first year students get acquainted with Harrington. He previously worked in the human resource department for the Career Education Corporation at the International Academy of Design and Technology, Chicago.
The Harrington Institute of Interior Design is a four-year college that offers flexible scheduling for a bachelor of fine arts degree in interior design, an associate of applied science degree and professional diploma.
Founded in Chicago in 1931, Harrington seeks to foster an environment that maximizes students' intellectual and artistic potentials. The majority of the faculty are practicing interior design, architecture and fine art professionals. Harrington is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and the BFA program is accredited by the Foundation for Interior Designer Education Research (FIDER). Harrington is also recognized by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
